Nigerian music heavyweights Wizkid and Davido have been announced among the winners of the 56th NAACP Image Awards.
The winners were revealed on Tuesday, February 18, and Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Wizkid clinched the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration award for his song with Brent Faiyaz, marking his sixth NAACP Image Award—the highest by any Nigerian artist.
Meanwhile, Davido won the Outstanding International Song category for his collaboration with Chris Brown.
Despite strong nominations, other Nigerian stars, including Tems and Burna Boy, missed out on awards this year.
