Wiz Khalifa Advocates for 10-Year Dating Period Before Marriage
Rapper Wiz Khalifa shares insights on relationships, suggesting couples should date for 10 years before marriage to truly understand each other.
Famous American rapper Wiz Khalifa has shared his perspective on relationships, advocating for couples to date for at least a decade before tying the knot. The father of two believes this timeframe allows partners to deeply understand each other and their families before committing to marriage.
Speaking on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Wiz explained, “Dating for 10 years is enough time to really know the person, their family, and who you’ll be living with when you move in together.”
When asked about cohabiting before marriage, the 37-year-old rapper noted, “It depends on the situation and circumstances. Some people move in right away and still need time to figure it out. But if you don’t, you’ll realize there’s a version of a person you see before sharing a space and a different version when you do.”
Wiz Khalifa was previously married to model Amber Rose in 2013, the same year they welcomed a son. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2014 and was legally finalized in 2016.
Currently, Wiz is in a long-term relationship with Aimee Aguilar, his girlfriend of five years. The couple recently welcomed a daughter together.
