“We are implementing many measures to reduce the cost of living” President Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced that his administration is taking several steps to reduce the cost of living in Nigeria, which is currently battling high inflation and economic difficulties. In his speech during Nigeria's 64th Independence Day Anniversary on October 1, Tinubu stated:

"The central concern of our people today is the high cost of living, especially food costs. This concern is shared globally as prices and the cost of living rise worldwide.

My fellow Nigerians, rest assured that we are implementing many measures to reduce the cost of living at home. The challenges we face should reinforce our belief in ourselves. We are Nigerians—resilient and tenacious. We will prevail and rise above our circumstances.
