Veteran Nollywood Actor Yinka Quadri Discusses Marriage and Ethics in the Film Industry

Veteran Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Alhaji Yinka Quadri, has expressed his thoughts on marriage within the Nigerian film industry. The respected thespian noted that it’s natural for actors to find love and marry within the profession, a trend common across many industries.
“It’s perfectly fine if actors marry each other. It’s a natural phenomenon that happens in every industry, not just ours,” Quadri said.
Addressing rumors about the exploitation of young actresses, Quadri firmly denied allegations of senior colleagues engaging in unethical practices, emphasizing that mutual attraction and consent among adults are not offenses.
“Doctors, lawyers, Islamic and gospel singers also marry within their profession, so there’s nothing unusual about it,” he concluded.
