The VeryDarkMan Nedu Wazobia controversy dates back to early 2025. In February 2025, VDM shared a leaked audio alleging Nedu’s involvement in hard drugs and fraud, claiming he had ties to illicit activities in Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco. Nedu denied these allegations, issuing a pre-action notice to VDM for defamation, according to Gistlover. Additionally, VDM accused Nedu of defrauding an NGO of N60 million, a claim Nedu also dismissed, as reported by Matthew Tegha Blog. The feud escalated when Nedu exited his podcast, Honest Bunch, citing VDM’s criticisms, which included allegations that Nedu invited VDM to the podcast and offered to buy him a car to gain favor, as per InformationNG.

In the latest video, VDM doubles down on his accusations, specifically mentioning the N60 million NGO funds. He also references an incident where Nedu allegedly sent Deeone, a reality star, N1 million for data after Deeone made controversial comments on Honest Bunch that led to Nedu’s exit from the podcast. VDM’s persistence in calling out Nedu has kept this controversy alive, with fans divided on whether VDM is a truth-teller or a troublemaker.

VeryDarkMan, born Martins Vincent Otse, has been a polarizing figure since gaining mainstream attention in 2022. Known for his activism and criticism of public figures, VDM has faced his own legal challenges, including a March 2024 arrest for cyberbullying and cyberstalking, from which he was released after pleading not guilty. His persistence in the VeryDarkMan Nedu Wazobia controversy aligns with his pattern of calling out perceived wrongs, but it also raises questions about his motives.
