VDM expresses gratitude to Sunday, a passionate Nigerian with an American passport, for lending his voice. He thanks Chief Priest Kuba, noting his unexpected support despite their court interactions. VDM appreciates Uncle Family Falling On Your Father for not condemning his arrest, showing surprise at the support. He mentions Jojo of Lagos for being at the forefront of support, finding her videos amusing. VDM thanks Peter Peace Square, a long-time fan since 2006, for speaking up against injustice.

VeryDarkMan’s arrest on May 2, 2025, by the EFCC over allegations of cyberstalking, sparked significant public outcry. His release on May 7, 2025, following intervention by human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju, as noted in Thread 0, added another layer to the story. The VeryDarkMan supporters thank you video is a direct response to this period, acknowledging the “Free VDM” movement that gained traction on social media.
