VeryDarkMan Seeks Appeal Over Lagos Court’s Ruling on Alleged Defamation Against Femi and Folarin Falana
Social media influencer VeryDarkMan has requested permission to appeal a Lagos High Court ruling that restricts him from posting alleged defamatory content about Femi Falana and Falz.
Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has applied to the Lagos High Court to appeal an order from Justice Matthias Dawodu requiring him to remove alleged defamatory posts about Femi Falana (SAN) and his son, artist Falz.
The October 14 ruling instructed VeryDarkMan to halt further dissemination of related content. In his application, he contends that the ruling relied solely on the respondent’s affidavit and requests the court’s discretion to extend time for seeking appeal, emphasizing the need for judicial fairness in exercising his appeal rights.
