Controversial social media figure, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has launched a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that raised ₦33 million in donations within just 24 hours. Sharing the news on his Instagram account, @verydarkblackman, on October 12, 2024, VDM explained that the NGO's focus would be on community development and improving public schools.
In his post, VDM encouraged his followers to support the initiative, pledging full transparency in managing the funds. He called on supporters and celebrities like Davido and Cubana Chief Priest for assistance, and assured that every contribution, no matter how small, would be accounted for publicly.
In a follow-up post the next day, VDM shared that donations had already surpassed ₦33 million. He expressed gratitude to donors, noting that the majority of contributions were ₦500 or less, showing that even those with limited resources were eager to support the cause.
“Within just 24 hours, the support has been overwhelming,” VDM said, thanking those who sent money and acknowledging their generosity.
Recently, VDM has gained attention for his exposé on the alleged bribery and corruption involving transgender personality Bobrisky.
