VDM Drags Falz & His Father into Bobrisky's Case, Alleges Crossdresser Bribed Them N10M for Pardon

A new wave of criticism has sprung up in Nigerian social media with crossdresser Bobrisky, activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), and rapper Falz and his father Femi Falana (SAN). The problem concerns VDM’s accusations, which are quite aggressive and have been concerned with restraining Bobrisky legally due to his outrageous actions and possible violations of the law.

VDM's trending news report is that Bobrisky bribed Falz and his father N10 million to be released from legal issues about charges against him. This accusation comes against the backdrop of other legal issues of currency misuse and money laundering, over which Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) this year. VDM has spoken extensively concerning Bobrisky’s situation, saying that he will take his petitions to the EFCC.

A popular Instagram blogger VDM famous for always shading public figures has taken to his social media page to protest what he sees as improper handling of the Bobrisky case. He said that this was part of the effort to influence the justice system in favour of Bobrisky as his claims have not been independently confirmed through any official statement by Falz or his father.

Currently, Bobrisky has been in the social limelight for months because of some legal problems; Although there are different opinions about him, some people support him, and some are against him on the Internet. The crossdresser has also been to Kirikiri Correctional Centre for a six-month jail term, which has further sensitized people on the matter.

This has elicited various reactions across the different social media platforms - individuals condemn the act or the bribery incident while others still debate the ethical and legal issues of the action by Bobrisky.
