Tiwa Savage fumes, labels Wizkid FC ‘bullies’
Tiwa Savage claps back at a Wizkid FC troll criticizing her collaboration with Ruger on Toma Toma, urging fans to end toxic rivalries and support positivity in music.
Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage has addressed a Wizkid FC troll who tried to undermine her latest collaboration with fast-rising star Ruger.
The much-anticipated track, *Toma Toma*, dropped today, November 15, 2024, with Tiwa promoting the release on Instagram through a lively dance video. In her post, she captioned, "No replica. Told y’all this one is special. The ???? @rugerofficial called and I answered. *Toma Toma* OUT NOW."
Fans and followers flocked to celebrate the release, but a self-proclaimed Wizkid FC member attempted to stir up drama, dismissing Tiwa’s efforts and suggesting no track could rival Wizkid’s release on the same day.
In a rare but pointed response, Tiwa Savage called out the troll, condemning toxic fan behavior. She urged fans to focus on supporting their favorites without tearing others down, stating, "There’s a line between being fans and bullies. This unhealthy competition is terrible for everyone."
Her statement has since sparked widespread discussions on the need for respect and unity within the Afrobeats community, with many applauding her stance against divisive fan wars.
