Through a statement by his Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu emphasized the need for a transparent process that reflects the people’s will. He commended INEC’s efficient preparations, including timely distribution of materials, and praised security personnel for ensuring order.
The President reminded candidates that governance is a privilege granted by the electorate and urged all to respect Nigeria’s 25 years of democratic progress by ensuring a free and fair election.
