Nigerian highlife duo, The Cavemen, comprising brothers Kingsley Okorie and Benjamin James, have unveiled their latest single, “Dancing Shoes,” ahead of their forthcoming album set for release later in 2025.
Known for their fusion of traditional highlife with Afrobeat, soul, and jazz, The Cavemen. continue to modernize the genre while honoring its roots. “Dancing Shoes” exemplifies this blend, featuring African polyrhythms, heartfelt lyrics, and a mix of Igbo and English vocals.

Since their debut in 2020 with the album Roots, The Cavemen have been pivotal in the highlife resurgence, earning critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Their sophomore album, Love and Highlife, further solidified their position in the music industry.
Beyond their own projects, The Cavemen have collaborated with notable artists such as Davido and Angelique Kidjo on “Na Money,” Asa on “Good Times” and with Show Dem Camp on the album “No Love In Lagos“. These collaborations showcase their versatility and commitment to blending traditional sounds with contemporary music.
