In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, Taymesan revealed the lasting effects of not being raised by both parents, explaining that his grandmother provided well, yet he developed trauma and abandonment issues in his twenties. As a defense, he became guarded, independent, and used humor as a shield.
He noted that while humor brought him validation, it also masked deep-seated people-pleasing tendencies and self-protective walls that have proven hard to dismantle.
