Nigerian footballer Taiwo Awoniyi has spoken out for the first time after a terrifying incident that saw him fall into an induced coma following a collision with the post during a dramatic 2-2 draw between his club and Leicester City.

The 27-year-old striker, known for his strength and goal-scoring instinct, had fans and teammates holding their breath after the incident during the Premier League fixture. His club swiftly released a statement confirming that Awoniyi was stable and under close medical supervision.
