Nigerian social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has been detained by the Nigeria Police Force after honoring an invitation. VDM’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, shared on Facebook that the detainment follows a recent video where VDM appeared in police uniform, sparking an investigation.
Last week, the police condemned VDM’s unauthorized use of official attire in the viral video, with spokesperson Olumuyiwa Adejobi announcing an inquiry into the incident.
