Singer, Jaywon Reveals He Has Forgiven Burna Boy
Nigerian singer Jaywon has publicly announced that he has decided to forgive Burna Boy for what he described as "disrespect" during a previous disagreement on social media. The conflict arose after Jaywon criticized Burna Boy for his assertion that no one had assisted him in his rise to fame within the music industry. However, in a recent interview with Ctdamongblacks, Jaywon shared that he has moved past the incident, citing Burna Boy's remarkable contributions to the Nigerian music scene as a reason for letting go of any resentment.
Jaywon acknowledged that while Burna Boy can be difficult, likening him to a "stubborn child," his impact on the industry is undeniable. He noted that despite Burna Boy’s occasional misbehavior, his hard work and achievements warrant a degree of leniency.
In the same interview, Jaywon took the opportunity to critique rapper Odumodublvck, who had also claimed that no one helped him in his career. Jaywon argued that Odumodublvck has not yet earned the right to make such bold statements. He revealed that his recent song “Time” was originally titled “Letter To Burna Boy,” inspired by his feelings towards Burna Boy, but he decided to change it after Odumodublvck's comments.
Jaywon expressed his disappointment with Odumodublvck, especially after the rapper released a diss track aimed at him. He remarked that the track fell short of his expectations, considering the rapper’s talent.
