Shina Peters Reveals Divine Reason for His Ordination as Cherubim and Seraphim Bishop

Renowned Nigerian juju musician, Shina Peters, has opened up about his recent ordination as a bishop in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.

The 66-year-old music icon revealed that his elevation to the position was divinely ordained. Speaking in a recent interview with NAN, he disclosed, “The Almighty God told the leaders of the church that I should be made the first bishop in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church. This is because I’m the only musician who has consistently used hymns in my songs and performances, leading many to Christ.”

Shina Peters admitted that he initially resisted the call to become a bishop but eventually surrendered to God’s will. “I tried to dodge the ordination for a while, but God finally got me arrested,” he explained.

The veteran musician emphasized that his music, often drawn from hymns, has been a powerful tool for evangelism throughout his career.
