Nigerian singer and songwriter Seyi Vibez has officially cut ties with his record label boss, Dapper, who is also engaged to chef Hilda Baci, marking the beginning of his independent career.

This development follows a recent reveal by Ayra Starr, who explained why she chose to collaborate with Seyi Vibez on her album ‘19 and Dangerous’, despite circulating rivalry rumors.

A check on Seyi Vibez's Instagram showed that he has unfollowed Dapper and updated his bio to "Independent artist." Interestingly, Dapper has also unfollowed the singer, indicating an amicable split between the two.

Seyi Vibez, known for his breakout hit ‘Double Chance’ in 2020, is now set to navigate his music career on his own terms.
