Sean Combs Faces New Lawsuits Alleging Sexual Misconduct, Including Abuse of a Minor
Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs faces new lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct, including claims he molested a minor in 1998. The cases add to his mounting legal troubles
Music mogul Sean Combs, also known as "Diddy," is facing a series of new lawsuits, including one alleging he molested a minor, according to his legal team. The lawsuits, filed anonymously in Manhattan by two women and four men, accuse Combs of sexual misconduct spanning from 1995 to 2021.
These lawsuits are part of a larger legal action being led by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, who revealed that over 100 people are planning to file cases against Combs. The rapper, now 54, was arrested last month on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Buzbee indicated that more cases will be filed in the coming weeks as additional evidence is gathered.
One of the new accusations involves a man who claims Combs sexually assaulted him in 1998, when he was just 16 years old. The incident allegedly occurred during one of Combs' famous parties in the Hamptons. The accuser says Combs fondled him and told him this was part of what it took to succeed in the music industry.
These lawsuits are filed under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act in New York City. Combs has been dealing with numerous similar accusations and is currently in custody, facing three criminal counts related to sexual abuse and violence. He has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial, which is scheduled for May 5, 2025. Prosecutors have suggested that more evidence and charges may emerge.
This wave of lawsuits follows public allegations from singer Cassie (Casandra Ventura), who claimed Combs abused her for over a decade, including an alleged rape in 2018.
