Rudeboy reaches out to twin brother through lawyer amid music rights dispute
Peter Okoye reveals his twin brother Paul has involved legal action in their ongoing music rights dispute over Peter’s latest release, Attention, escalating the Psquare feud.
The ongoing feud between Nigerian music duo Psquare has taken a new turn as Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, revealed that his twin brother, Paul (Rudeboy), has involved legal action in their latest dispute over music rights. The tension between the brothers reignited after Peter’s recent release, *Attention*, which Rudeboy alleged was sampled from his unreleased album set for June 2025.
In a recent Instagram post, Peter dismissed the backlash over his public spat with Paul, defending himself against claims that he unlawfully used his brother’s material. He made it clear that he holds evidence to counter Rudeboy’s accusations.
Peter further revealed that Paul, along with their older brother Jude, has contacted him through a lawyer, demanding the removal of *Attention* from all streaming platforms.
Addressing the situation, Peter stated, “Call us names, call us childish; that’s fine. But if anyone says anything false about me and I have proof, I will defend myself.” He also highlighted that he and Calypso60 Music co-wrote the song, refuting Paul’s claims. “You said you wrote the song, yet Calypso60 Music and I were the ones telling you what to sing.”
Standing firm, Peter added, “Jude and Paul have written through a lawyer, doing everything to take down the song, but I will fight to the end with my full chest.”
As the dispute unfolds, fans of Psquare are left watching closely, hoping for a resolution amidst the growing rift between the iconic twin brothers.
