R. Kelly’s Daughter Joann Accuses Him of Childhood Abuse in New Documentary

Joann Kelly, daughter of singer R. Kelly, has accused her father of sexually abusing her during her childhood. In a new two-part documentary series on the TVEI Streaming Network titled Karma: A Daughter’s Journey, the 26-year-old revealed she first told her mother, Drea, about the abuse in 2009.

Joann did not go into details about the incidents but stated that her father’s prison sentence is justified. She described the lasting impact of the abuse and how it changed her life. R. Kelly’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, has publicly denied the claims.
