Notably, Queen Lateefah is the most successful release outside the peak December period, solidifying its place as a major non-seasonal hit.
The film’s impressive journey began with a ₦57 million opening weekend, surpassing the ₦200 million mark within three weeks. By mid-October, its earnings had reached ₦216 million. Distributed by Cinemax and directed by Adeoluwa Owu, Queen Lateefah centers on Lateefah Adeleke, a 30-year-old woman who, despite presenting herself as a worldly high-society figure, harbors hidden truths from her past.
