Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Prime Boy, has taken legal action against Abosede Adeyemo, the mother of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, over allegations of defamation and libel.
Prime Boy shared a legal document on his Instagram page on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, revealing that he had filed a lawsuit at the High Court of Lagos State, Ikeja.

According to the court documents dated February 12, 2025, Prime Boy alleges that Abosede Adeyemo made defamatory, injurious, and false statements about him in a March 28, 2024, video interview. He claims that these statements, which were widely published by various news platforms, were intended to damage his reputation.
As a result, Prime Boy is seeking ₦50 million in damages, stating that Mohbad’s mother deliberately tarnished his image in the eyes of the public.
