Residents in Kaduna State experienced a brief reprieve from an ongoing blackout when power was restored for a few hours at 9:00 pm on Thursday. The prolonged outage had left many local businesses struggling, forcing some to close.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) confirmed that power was partially restored, announcing that the Apir-Lafia 330kV line is now operational, providing bulk power to areas like Kaduna, Kano, Jos, and Gombe
