Popular Nollywood actor clamours for investigation into the death of musician Mohbad
Yomi Fabiyi, a prominent Nollywood actor, has announced a peaceful protest to demand justice for the late Nigerian musician Mohbad.
Popular Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi on Instagram account called for a peaceful protest, called for a peaceful protest, which starts on the 30th of September at the Lagos State House of Assembly on the investigation around the death of of popular music star, Ilerioluwa Promise a.k.a Mohbad. He states that “there are series of serious concerns in the course of this matter, especially around the kind of investigation, if the government and Police do not intervene quickly”. He also post a letter of notice regarding the protest to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police. Mohbad was a popular Nigeria artist, he died on the 12th of September, 2023, over a year ago. He died under strange circumstances, causing rumours surrounding his death to swirl on social media platforms. As a result of his prior allegations against his former boss Naira Marley and Music promoter Sammy Lerry.
