Police Debunk Reports Of Alleged Planned Attack On UniAbuja

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has dismissed reports on social media, claiming that there is a planned terrorist attack at the University of Abuja, UniAbuja. Some of these rumours included assertions that there were strangers who were planning to kidnap students on the campus. Nevertheless, the FCT Police Command has refuted all these allegations, stating that the entire information is peddled in the media to create unnecessary alarm.

FCT police command spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, refutes the report and says people should stop spreading such falsehood. The police have also stressed that sufficient security measures have been deployed in the university compound and the neighbourhood in order to curb insecurity among the populace as well as enhance security for students.
