Player sent off a football pitch after appearing to urinate by the side
A football player from Peru seemed to urinate at the side of the field during a game, and he was sent out for being unsportsmanlike.
During a Peruvian football match, a player seemed to urinate by the side of the pitch and was dismissed for unsportsmanlike conduct. Sebastian Munoz, a striker for Atletico Awajun, was seen on camera purportedly emptying himself while waiting for a corner while the opposing goalie was getting medical attention.
The Cantorcillo FC players warned the referee, who red carded Munoz, even though the striker had his back to the camera and away from the field, facing an empty area.
Atletico Awajun and Peruvian football authorities have not yet responded to reports of Munoz's purported behavior. Atletico Awajun competes in the Copa Peru play-offs and is a member of the third tier.
