Nigerian music icon Phyno, born Chibuzor Azubuike, has unveiled his much-anticipated fifth album, Full Time Job, marking yet another monumental chapter in his career. Known for his signature blend of indigenous sounds and modern rhythms, Phyno has once again captured the essence of his journey in this latest project.
During an intimate listening session on October 3, 2024, held at the Listening Room in Landmark Tower, Oniru, Lagos, Phyno connected with fans and industry elites, offering an exclusive first listen to his latest hits. The event, which was electric with excitement, drew music heavyweights such as Timaya, Jude Okoye, Cubana Chief Priest, and Cheque, among others.
Phyno described the album as a culmination of his life's work, sharing, “Full Time Job is not just a collection of songs—it’s a reflection of my personal growth, sacrifices, and experiences. Every track tells a story about my journey, my roots, and the grind.”
The 15-track album boasts a star-studded lineup of collaborations, featuring Burna Boy on Do I (Remix), ArrDee on Time of My Life, and Flavour on Men Don Show Face. It also includes an intriguing interlude, Nwoke Esike, featuring none other than Hushpuppi, adding to the eclectic mix of sounds and stories Phyno has woven together.
