Peter Okoye reacts to Rudeboy’s ownership claim over new song, releases evidence
Peter Okoye, aka Mr. P, shuts down Rudeboy’s claims over his latest song "Attention" with proof, revealing details of its original creation.
Renowned singer, Peter Okoye, better known as Mr. P, has set the record straight after his twin brother, Paul Okoye (aka Rudeboy), reignited their long-standing feud over a song ownership dispute.
Recently, Rudeboy alleged that Mr. P’s newly released track, "Attention," was a direct lift from one of his own unreleased tracks scheduled to drop in June 2025. The accusation sparked fresh tensions between the once-iconic duo of the defunct P-Square group.
In a bold response, Peter took to Instagram to dismantle Rudeboy’s claims with solid evidence. In a series of posts, he detailed the entire creative process behind “Attention.” Peter disclosed that he had collaborated with music producer Vampire, whom he had met in Ghana. To solidify their partnership, Peter sponsored Vampire's flight to Nigeria, where they worked together on multiple tracks, including "Attention."
Peter emphasized that he had written and completed the song before Vampire even set foot in Nigeria, firmly rejecting the notion of any alleged sampling. To clear any doubts, he also released an audio recording of a conversation with Vampire, highlighting the song's originality and further disproving Rudeboy’s allegations.
In his closing remarks, Mr. P reaffirmed his dedication to creating authentic music and expressed disappointment over his brother's accusations, calling for the focus to shift back to the music rather than feuding.
