In his X post at 11:11 am on April 21, 2025, Peter Okoye responded to a fan’s criticism, stating:
“I said what I said! Unapologetic! Maybe you didn’t see the complete video of that statement. I appealed to those fans to support whoever they want to support rather than comparison. Today Wiz, Davido, and Burna, who used to support each other on stage, no longer do all that simply because of comparison! Y’all can do better. This is not pride it’s the fact!
