Peter Obi speaks about the forthcoming protest

Finally! The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi opens up on his thoughts about the forthcoming protest scheduled to hold across Nigeria on the 1st of August, 2024.

Mr. Obi addressed journalist while on a visit to Dr. Alex Otti, the Governor of Abia State.

According to Mr. Obi, "Protests are within the tenets of the law and provided it is done in accordance with the law, devoid of any form of violence, it is a worth cause and not a bad thing".

He also cited instance of when he experienced protest as the Governor of Anambra and how he was calm to listen to the plight of the people.

Dr. Alex Otti, added his voice to the subject and advised Abians not to join the protest but rather, they should come dialogue with him.
