Paulo tackles critics berating Davido for saying Nigeria’s economy is in shambles
Music promoter Paulo defends Davido after backlash over comments about Nigeria's struggling economy, urging Nigerians to face reality and work towards a better future.
Popular music promoter Paulo has fired back at Nigerians criticizing Davido for his recent remarks about the country's struggling economy.
In a recent interview, Davido cautioned African Americans who were considering relocating to Nigeria, pointing out that things aren't as great as they might think, especially regarding the economy.
Following his comments, Davido faced backlash from politicians and citizens alike. However, Paulo has stepped in to defend the star, calling out the criticism as misplaced.
Paulo, in his strong rebuttal, didn’t hold back, saying:
"Please, leave Davido alone! Mad people! Davido spoke the truth. Nigeria's economy is in a terrible state. With global companies pulling out and local businesses suffering major losses, it’s obvious we are facing serious challenges. We need to confront reality and strive for a better future. God bless Nigeria."
Paulo’s defense highlights the need for honesty in addressing the country’s issues, urging Nigerians to focus on solutions instead of attacking those who speak out.
