Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, formerly of P-Square, has spoken out on Speed Darlington's recent arrest for defamation. On October 9, 2024, Okoye shared his thoughts via Instagram, stressing the importance of responsible social media use and the limits of free speech.
He posted, "Everything is a joke until it catches up with you... then they call you an oppressor because you have money. There’s a big difference between freedom of data and freedom of speech." He further advised, "Use the internet; don’t let it use you."
This comes after Speed Darlington was arrested for allegedly defaming Burna Boy, claiming he had ties to rapper Diddy, who faces serious legal charges.
