Pastor Tobi Adegboyega Denies Deportation Allegations, Affirms Freedom to Reside Anywhere
Controversial cleric Pastor Tobi Adegboyega addresses deportation rumors, dismissing claims of misconduct and affirming his right to reside in any country.
Nigerian cleric and founder of SPAC Nation Church, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has refuted allegations of his deportation from the United Kingdom to Nigeria. The controversial pastor addressed the claims during a live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, amid rumors of deportation following a tribunal and allegations of financial misconduct.
Pastor Tobi dismissed the reports as baseless, asserting his freedom to reside in any country of his choice. “I’m a citizen of a country I want to be in because money gives you options, while poverty makes you beg,” he said.
He recounted a recent legal proceeding involving immigration issues, where he claimed to have faced an unusual panel of five all-white judges. Pastor Tobi expressed confidence in the outcome and revealed plans to release the transcripts of the proceedings to clarify the situation.
Addressing his ties to Nigeria, he said, “Why would I be afraid to come to Nigeria? The current government is doing well; anyone who says otherwise can jump off the bridge.” He further emphasized his readiness to return, promising to arrive with a team of “fine young men and women” and maintain his high standard of living.
He criticized attempts to tarnish his image, calling the allegations demeaning. “If I arrive in Nigeria, I will do so with a calvary of fine young men and women and live better than I do on my current assignment ground. It is belittling; that’s what they aim to do,” he concluded.
Fans and critics alike continue to weigh in on Pastor Tobi’s statements, with many awaiting further details regarding the ongoing controversy.
