The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has opened up about a chilling experience where a married woman became obsessed with him and even threatened to kill his wife.
Speaking during the grand finale of the 2025 Special Victory Hour program, the revered cleric recalled how the woman, a senior official at the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), walked into his office one day and boldly declared that God told her he was meant to be her husband.
“Several years ago, a woman came to my office and said, ‘God has told me that you are my husband.’ I told her, ‘How can that be? I am a pastor and happily married.’ She herself was married, and from the look of things, she might even be older than me,” he narrated.
Despite interventions from the police and her husband, the woman remained adamant. She even went as far as threatening Pastor Adeboye’s wife, warning her to step aside or face dire consequences.
“She told my wife, ‘If you don’t allow me to marry him, I will kill you.’ This was not a joke—demons have been around for a long time,” he added.
The shocking revelation has sparked discussions about spiritual warfare, religious obsession, and divine protection.
