Outrage as Naira Marley blasts late Mohbad in Zinoleesky’s new song

Controversial artist Naira Marley is facing renewed backlash after taking a jab at his late former signee, Mohbad, in a recently released track by Zinoleesky. Mohbad’s first remembrance recently passed, marking a year since his tragic death, which remains shrouded in unanswered questions.

In the song "Abanikanda," featuring Naira Marley, the Marlian Records head made a remark that many found deeply offensive. Naira Marley, who was once considered a suspect in Mohbad’s case, rapped a line that seemed to reference his late protégé in a harsh light: “Leave that opp boy inna casket.” 

This lyric has sparked widespread outrage among Mohbad’s fans, who accused Naira Marley of callousness and continuing to disrespect his ex-signee, even in death. Many have condemned the singer for his perceived insensitivity, reigniting a wave of criticism against him.
