Olympics: Nigeria's last medal hopeful, Loses in Freestyle Wrestling

As the Paris 2024 Olympics draws to a official closure tomorrow, 11th August, 2024, Nigeria's chances of winning a medal seems unattainable as the last medal hopeful suffers defeat.

Hannah Reuben, the penultimate medal contender for Nigeria, lost badly on Saturday in the 76kg Women's Freestyle Wrestling quarterfinals.

Following Nigeria's medal-hopeful Tobi Amusan's elimination from the Women's 100m Hurdles final on Friday, all eyes were on Hannah Reuben. She did not place among the top two losers; instead, she finished in third place.

Team Nigeria performs appallingly at the Olympics in Paris and comes away empty-handed. In the current situation, Team Nigeria will not return from the Olympics in Paris with a medal.
