Favour Ofili, a sprinter from Nigeria, vented her annoyance on Tuesday by declaring that she will not be participating in the 100-meter event at the present Olympics in Paris because of administrative errors committed by the Nigerian Olympic Committee and the Athletics Federation of Nigeria.

She expressed her doubts about the reliability of both organizations and demanded responsibility from those in charge. The former LSU track and field athlete intends to compete in the 200-meter competition. The Louisiana State University track and field program is referred to as LSU track.

Ofili revealed that, while she was qualified for the competition, she was not let in by the officials, which was a replay of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

"Both organizations cannot be trusted going forward if those in charge are not held accountable for seizing this chance from me! The 200 meters is the next one. I'm hoping to get in."
