Olajumoke Orisaguna Opens Up About Domestic Abuse

Olajumoke Orisaguna, famously known as “Olajumoke Onibread,” has accused her ex-husband, Sunday Orisaguna, of domestic violence and contributing to the decline of her career.

During an interview with City FM, the model detailed her experiences with physical abuse and family conflict while living in her ex-husband’s family home in Ire, Osun State. According to Olajumoke, her mother-in-law often instigated disputes, and her husband would side with his mother without hearing her out.

“He would beat me severely, sometimes using a belt, leaving my face and body swollen,” she recounted. She endured years of abuse in silence, fearing her mother’s reaction, as her mother had never approved of the marriage.

In January 2016, after another violent incident, Olajumoke decided to leave her husband, taking her two children to Lagos. She resumed work at a bakery, but challenges persisted as her ex-husband allegedly tarnished her reputation, which she says affected her career.

Olajumoke rose to fame in 2016 after unexpectedly walking into a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah, captured by photographer TY Bello. However, since her separation, she claims her career has struggled due to her ex-husband’s actions.
