The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has strongly condemned blogger Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), for using police uniforms in a viral video. In the video, VDM introduces himself as “CSP VeryDarkMan” and pledges to expose online offenders.
The NPF disassociated from this portrayal, launching an investigation into the source of the uniform and reminding the public that unauthorized use of police gear is a criminal offense under Nigerian law. The police emphasized the need to respect the integrity of the NPF and cautioned against such misuse.
