Nigerian NDLEA dismantles two drug cartels supplying opioids and cocaine across borders, arresting six leaders and seizing large quantities of drugs.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has dismantled two major drug trafficking syndicates operating between Nigeria and Cameroon, recovering billions in cocaine and opioids. Six cartel leaders, including both Nigerian and Cameroonian nationals, were arrested following months of surveillance. Significant drug hauls, including 276,500 tramadol pills and 3.3 kg of cocaine, were confiscated.
NDLEA Chairman Buba Marwa praised agents for their efforts in the ongoing War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) initiative, which includes outreach across various communities.
