NDCC Demands Rivers State Governor Fubara Refund Alleged Unauthorized Funds Following Court Ruling

The National Democratic and Change Coalition (NDCC) has demanded that Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara return state funds reportedly spent without proper legislative approval. This follows a Federal High Court ruling in Abuja that froze Rivers State’s funds due to an unconstitutional budget approval process involving only a four-member Assembly.

NDCC President John Uloko praised Justice Abdulmalik’s decision, stating it upholds democracy and urges a full legislative assembly review for budget validation.
