NBA star Confirms Marriage to Long Time Partner

NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo has confirmed his marriage status to his longtime partner Mariah Riddlesprigger. He disclosed this in an interview with PEOPLE.

Antetokounmpo, who is a Greek-Nigerian born in Athens and moved out of Greece in 2013 after being drafted in the NBA, decided to return to his birth country for his wedding ceremony. "We were able to have all of the people that were close to us, our family," he said. "Most of my teammates, Bucks teammates, ex-teammates... they were there."

He also stated that his friends and business partners were in attendance with his family. The couple shares two sons, Liam Charles, 4, and Maverick Shai, 3, and their baby girl, Eva Brooke.

Recollecting their time together in Greece, Antetokounmpo said, "We had an incredible few days there together. We had fun." "It was a celebration of our love. Now we’ve become one. And I’m happy that we did it," he continued. "I feel like a lot of people had fun."
