My ex-lover is the reason I haven’t won a Grammy Award – Portable
Portable accuses ex-lover Queen Dami of hindering his career success, reveals turning to Yoruba spirituality for guidance and sacrifices to Aje for progress.
Controversial singer Portable has sparked conversation once again, accusing his ex-lover, Queen Dami, of stalling his path to global success, including his dreams of winning a Grammy.
In a chat with Daddy Freeze, the Zazoo crooner linked his career setbacks to his past relationship, claiming it negatively impacted his progress. To seek clarity and a way forward, Portable revealed he turned to Ifa, a traditional Yoruba spiritual practice, for guidance.
He shared that he offered sacrifices to Aje, the Yoruba goddess of wealth, and sought spiritual insight to break free from anything hindering his success.
Speaking passionately in Yoruba, Portable stated, “I gave food to Aje and prayed to Ifa. I was told to declare that any person, man or woman, blocking my progress should leave my life so they don’t drain my energy.”
