Mr. Macaroni Talks About the Challenges of Faithfulness in Relationships

Comedian and actor Adebowale Adedayo, better known as Mr. Macaroni, has candidly discussed the challenges of maintaining faithfulness in marriages and relationships, describing it as “possible but difficult.” During an appearance on the Diary of a Naija Girl podcast, the popular skit maker opened up about the complexities of commitment, noting that while giving relationship advice may seem straightforward, living by those principles is much harder in practice.

Mr. Macaroni emphasized that infidelity is a widespread issue that affects both men and women alike. He explained that once someone starts down the path of unfaithfulness, it becomes increasingly difficult to stop.

He said, “It’s possible not to cheat, but it’s very difficult. I might not be in a relationship right now, but I consider myself a relationship expert. My friends come to me for advice, and I help them. It’s easier to give advice from the outside, but when you're in a relationship, it’s a whole different story. It’s very hard not to cheat as a married person. Both men and women struggle with it, not just men. You may tell yourself you’ll cheat only once, but once you start, there’s no turning back.”
