Mr. Macaroni Shares How 2021 Arrest Made Him Fearless Advocate for Justice

Nigerian content creator and activist Adebowale Debo Adedayo, known as Mr. Macaroni, shared how his 2021 arrest by police transformed him into a fearless advocate for the oppressed. Speaking with Chude Jideonwo, he described being stripped and mistreated in custody, noting that this traumatic experience eliminated his fear.

Macaroni stated, “I feel I should use my platform to speak for those who cannot.” Witnessing the hostility of his captors strengthened his resolve to pursue justice, and he now sees his platform as a responsibility to inspire change.
