Popular internet personality Martins Otse urges President Bola Tinubu not to remove the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, praising his efforts and calling for the removal of the Minister of Power.
Popular internet personality Martins Otse has urged President Bola Tinubu not to remove the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. He made this statement in a video posted on his Instagram account on Friday evening.
He stated, "I just saw a news report that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu wants to reshuffle his ministers, and then I saw BTO, and I’m like, what is Honourable Minister's picture doing there? I can beat my chest and say that guy is working."
He continued, "President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whatever you do, do not change BTO." He mentioned that he had called him out on the passport issue, not knowing he was already working on it. He also pointed out that while he was in detention, he had complained about conditions outside the prison rather than inside, but things are already being worked on. He also highlighted that the minister has ordered an investigation into the Bobrisky bribery scandal, and some officers have already been arrested over the case.
He further stated that if any minister should be removed, it should be the Minister of Power, Adelabu Adebayo, due to the segregation in different bands.
