According to sources, Manchester United believes they are “being used” to “smoke out bidders” for certain players because the Red Devils’ “kitty is pretty much empty.” Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraouil have already joined the Red Devils, and Manuel Ugarte is set to join from Paris Saint-Germain. Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho may switch clubs as part of a purported trade involving Manchester United, and Ben Chilwell is also reportedly a target for the Red Devils. Ivan Toney of Brentford and other players have also been connected to Manchester United, and Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail maintains that the team feels as though it is being exploited by another team.
“That’s going to be a really bad piece of business, for sure, because it’s really hard to see how it can work due to all the other young attacking players already at Chelsea,” former striker Louis Saha told Betfred in reference to the possible Sancho to Manchester United rumors. I don’t see him traveling to Chelsea anyhow, and I don’t understand why he would be thrilled to go there, but I could be mistaken. He still has room on Manchester United’s roster, but the management can decide to let him go. However, I am aware that Jadon is searching for a way to play first team football elsewhere.
