Veteran Nollywood actress Lola Idije has responded to the viral rumors alleging that Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, "snatched" her daughter’s boyfriend. The speculation began when it was rumored that Omoborty’s husband was previously romantically involved with Idije’s daughter before being taken by the actress.
During an Instagram live session, Omoborty denied the claims, asserting that her husband had never been connected to Lola Idije’s daughter. Despite her denial, the rumors persisted.
In reaction, Lola Idije took to Instagram to clarify the situation, stating, "I want to address the circulating story. The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty's husband was through a phone call introduction from her. Neither I nor my daughters knew him before that. Omoborty didn’t snatch my daughter’s boyfriend, and I attended their wedding, which proves there’s no truth to the claim."
