Lojay, whose real name is Lekan Osifeso Jr., rose to fame with his breakout 2021 EP “LV N ATTN” (Love and Attention). The EP was a collaboration with superstar producer Sarz. The project featured the massive hit “Monalisa”, which quickly became a club and radio favorite. It eventually received a remix with American artist Chris Brown. The song charted internationally and helped cement Lojay’s place in the new wave of Afrobeats talents making waves globally.

Since then, he has continued to deliver with tracks like “Leader“, “Moto“, “Somebody Like You” and “Canada” featuring Amapiano heavyweight DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. Known for his smooth vocals, futuristic sound, and sleek visuals, Lojay has become a fan favorite not just in Nigeria but around the world.

Despite his rising fame, Lojay has largely avoided controversies. He chooses instead to focus on his art and remains consistent in delivering quality music. His style blends Afrobeats with R&B, trap, and electronic elements. This creates a unique sound that sets him apart from the crowd.

With “Mwah” set to drop this Friday, Lojay is clearly ready to take over the charts once again. Fans are eagerly waiting to hear how he and Modeal will blend their sounds. It’s already being called the next big hit in Afrobeats.
